Hello Everyone,
We have some bittersweet news to share with all of you. Our plans to reopen February 2, have changed. We have been aware for some time that with the expiration of our lease this year, the renegotiation of a new lease was not an option. We felt comfortable with this for many reasons including, the expansion of SR 32 in the near future, and our plans for starting a family and how the dynamic of our business works. Our store has done extremely well in Westfield and we are extremely grateful to our customers for this. Our success has allowed for this new direction to come to fruition.
As we began the process of where to take our business, we were given an incredible opportunity that we have spent several months working out the details. We have purchased the Old Towne Carmel Bed & Breakfast located in downtown Carmel. We are beyond excited for this new venture. Among the many positives that this brings us, our inflight catering business has grown more than double this year and shows no signs of slowing down. This new space will allow us to have a commercial kitchen on our property, allowing us the ability to still do all the custom cakes, cookies, Macarons, specialty catering and private chef events. The best part is as we start a family....this will all be from our home!
Now many questions will come such as "Can we still order from you and how does that work? The answer is absolutely! We will continue our custom cakes, cookies, French Macarons, specialty catering and private chef events. So please continue your orders!! We will be less than 10 minutes from our Westfield location. So pick up at our B&B is an option as well as we are working on a Westfield pick up location or delivery options. For those of you who purchased or received gift certificates from us....we will honor those until June 30, 2016.
Many of you have loved our monthly "Westfield Dinner Club". We will continue this in our new location and will get you our next date as soon as we get settled in. We are shooting for late spring for the next dinner club.
We will also be part of the Farmer's Market and still be a part of many Westfield events. Our hearts are still in this loving and growing community. We hope to be back in the future and are keeping our eyes open for a location.
We want to thank each and every one of you for your amazing support and we hope to see you all very soon. We apologize for this very last minute notice, but as many moving parts have been addressed, it takes time to work out details and sometimes those details come to agreement at the "11th hour"! Thank you for your understanding during this emotional time for us. These emotions are sadness mixed with excitement and happiness. It's very overwhelming, but our path is leading us and we are faithfully following!
